WOOLRICH is Everything
The formidable Ms Lauryn Hill fronts Woolrich's Fall Winter 2018 campaign. Themed 'American Soul since 1830', the brand collaborated with none other than soul music's beloved Ms. Lauryn Hill with a strict focus on American heritage paired with creatives who authentically connect to American ingenuity. New York based creative agency Framework, led by its Creative Director Brian Phillips, took this opportunity to highlight it's first installment of 'American Soul'.
Creative Director of Woolrich, Andrea Cané offered that to put a unique spin on the classic offerings from the brand this season, Ms Hill was chosen not only for her artistic eye but as a contributor to American innovation, 'connecting the brand to the most meaningful and deeply iconic parts of the history of Woolrich' added Phillips, of which Hill's music is quite obviously a seminal part. Styled by Rihanna's own Mel Ottenberg, the collection in the campaign features looks customised exclusively for Ms. Hill including original features such as a screen printed collage of her album covers on the Silverton coat in red Buffalo check first introduced in 1850; an ode to her eclectic and memorable style.
