Red Hot is back
For those of you who were fans of Red Hot, you'll be pleased to know that Thomas Knights has once again captured the beauty of red heads.
Collaborating with designer Elliott Frieze, photographer Knights brings us round two, titled Red Hot II. Featuring a an art book and exhibition, the next stage of the effort was launched over at the nhow hotel Rotterdam earlier this month, and will move onto London during October.
The pair hope to tackle some of the stigmas attached to being a red head and Knights explained that "In the UK and throughout the world, being ginger comes with many stigmas attached. Many are bullied at school and for some even later in life". Knights and Frieze want this to end and so have used their positions to highlight the beauty of redheads. Red Hot has been working with the Diana Award (which is supported by Princes Harry and William) and a huge chunk of the money raised has gone straight into supporting thousands of children in schools tackle their problems with regards to bullying. This involves training them as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors so that they can also help others in the same positions.
