Lou Dalton X Jaeger AW16
In a fitting fashion alliance, Lou Dalton and Jaeger —two inherently British brands — collaborate on an AW 16 capsule collection tailor-made for the modern gentleman. The Scottish born Dalton who has swiftly developed a reputation for designing functional pieces inspired by her native homeland’s outdoor explorers brings a fresh new perspective to Jaeger’s highly respected heritage-based brand. Dalton turned to Jaeger’s archives — referencing pieces polar explorer Ernest Shackleton and his team donned during the 1914 Endurance Expedition to Antarctica. The collection itself is comprised of outerwear essentials — a shower-proof stretch nylon hooded jacket, a mixed-guage wool sweater, a nylon trench with drop out flannel gilet, and balaclava gloves and snood. Designed in understated hues of black, camel, charcoal grey, pale blue, and ink navy, the pieces are adaptable to any environment. Dalton utilized stretch nylon and thermocool wool for optimal comfort and durability.
